The Circuit Cards are categorized as station, CO line or option cards (see Tables 21 ~23). Feature subassemblies that plug onto a universal slot circuit card are listed below the associated card. For details, see the Strata CIX I&M Manual.

Preprogrammed for plug-and-play in CIX Base or Exp., provides

 

4~32 voice ports. Also supports fax server and Unified

Stratagy iES32 (CIX100, CIX200 and CIX670)

Messaging (UM). 10/100BaseT Ethernet connection and a serial port used for Toshiba Proprietary Integration (TPI). (See Stratagy

 

General Description for details).

 

The Stratagy iES16 is an integrated voice mail system that can be installed in a card slot inside a Strata CIX or CTX system.

 

The Stratagy iES16 supports a maximum of 16 voice ports, and

Stratagy iES16 (CIX100, CIX200 and CIX670)

is available in model increments of 4 ports (4, 8, 12, 16 ports).

 

The Stratagy iES16 also ships with Unified Messaging and 5 client seats standard, and can be configured for all of the advanced applications of the iES32, specifically up to 4 channels of fax and 8 channels of Text to Speech.

Enhanced 911 CAMA Trunk Interface Unit (RMCU/RCMS)

E91 1 CAMA circuits. Provides up to 4 CAMA trunk circuits. The RMCU/RCMS eliminates the need for connection of adjunct terminal adapter equipment to E911 CAMA trunks.

Requires 1 or 2 RCMS circuit cards for 2 or 4 CAMA lines respectively.

E911 analog CAMA trunks.

CAMA Trunk Subassembly (RCMS)

RCMS attaches to RMCU. Provides 2 E911 CAMA circuits.

Up to 2 RCMSs per RMCU for 4 CAMA lines max. (1 RCMS comes packaged with the RMCU.)

Ground/Loop Start Interface CO Line Interface Unit (RGLU3)

T1/DS-1 Interface Unit (RDTU)

Provides T1 (DS1) Interface: 1~8, 1~16, or 1~24 channels (lines), depends on system programming.
